MABE Dance Experience

A unique experience of study and inspiration to improve with exceptional masters in the heart of Scotland: Biagio Tambone, Aikaterini Tsiara - Classical Dance, Gaia Lemmi - Contemporary Dance, Alessia Ciricosta - Hip Hop.

The MABE Dance Experience is an intensive dance campus aimed at young dancers and dancers who wish to deepen their artistic training in an international context, immersed in the magic of Scotland.

During the program, students will attend daily classes of classical, modern and hip hop dance, led by a team of top-level teachers.

The lessons take place exclusively in English, offering a concrete opportunity to practice the language through the art of movement. Each day includes Three lessons of one hour each, one for each discipline, for a total of 15 hours per week of intensive training.

A path that combines technique, creativity and teamwork, developing discipline, expressiveness and awareness of the body in an international and inspiring environment.

Classic dance

Elegance, discipline and technique: the basis of every dance path.

The students work at the bar, in the center and diagonally, developing posture, balance and musicality. A timeless art form that teaches harmony, constancy and respect for the body.

Biagio Tambone

Teacher at the Teatro alla Scala dance school in Milan

For Biagio Tambone dance is life, and it has been his life since he was a child. Born in Milan, he graduated from the Teatro alla Scala dance school and attended the specialization course at the choreographic school of the Bol’šoj Theater in Moscow for three years. In 1982 he joined the corps de ballet of the great Milanese theater, becoming in 1984 soloist and then the company’s first dancer. In 1994 she began her career as a lecturer and assistant management of Mrs. A. Prina at the La Scala dance school, then continuing as a maître de ballet and professeur of the dance troupe under the direction of F. Olivieri, E. Terabust and M. Vaziev. Throughout his career he collaborates with the greatest international choreographers, including R. Nureyev, F. Flindt, J. Kylián, W. Forsythe, A. Ailey, S. Vikharev, R. Petit, M. Bigonzetti, F. Monteverde, A. Preljocaj, L. Cannito, H. Spoerli, N. Makarova and P. Schaufuss. He was co-founder, teacher and resident choreographer of the AIDA Training Center and has collaborated as a teacher for the Preljocaj and McGregor companies. Since 2023 he has been a lecturer for the specialization course of the Ballet School of the Teatro alla Scala Academy and teaches in the two-sided courses, repertoire and academic technique of the AFAM programs of the Academy itself. He shares his experience with passion and generosity, convinced that in dance – as in life – “one must never be selfish, but give oneself completely”.

Aikaterini Tsiara

Artistic Director - Art Center Synthesi

She started dancing at the age of three at the Roula Kafantari school, where 
She graduated with a specialization in dance pedagogy. She was a member of the “Irida” and “Dance Promotion Company” companies, performing in great classics of the repertoire such as Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, the Nutcracker and Paquita, as well as contemporary works such as Microcosmos and Jeux de Cartes.
She has participated in international seminars and masterclasses in Europe with masters of World famous as Natalia Makarova, Ekaterina Maximova, Vladimir Vasiliev and Dimitris Papaioannou. Winner of numerous awards as a dancer and teacher, she had formed dancers who have also distinguished themselves in international competitions such as the Prix de Lausanne.
Since 1999 he has directed the Synthesi Art Center, a reference point for the training of Young dancers in Greece and abroad, and since 2017 she has been the artistic director of Veria Dance Competition and Dance & Theater Camp in Greece. He is also a member of International juries and guest lecturer in dance schools throughout Europe.

Contemporary dance

Freedom of movement, research and experimentation.

It combines technique and creativity to explore new body possibilities in space and time.
Through exercises on the ground, standing and improvisation, each dancer discovers his own
expressiveness and uniqueness.

Gaia Lemmi

Artistic Director - AreaDanza Livorno

Dancer, choreographer and teacher, she began studying classical and modern dance in 1978, perfecting herself with prominent masters such as Loris Gai and taking the London Istd exams. Winner of several scholarships – including those of the Lazio Region, the Tuscany Region and the École Supérieure de Danse “Rosella Hightower” in Cannes – moves to Rome to continue professional training. Since 1993 he has dedicated himself to teaching and, since 2009, has directed the Livorno AreaDanza School, where he teaches classical and contemporary dance. He has collaborated with the Teatro alla Scala in Milan as an assistant to the maître de Ballet Biagio Tambone and has participated in national theatrical and musical productions. In 2011 he received the Anita Bucchi Award, sponsored by MiBAC and the Rome Opera House. Founder and artistic director of the “Livorno in dance” international competition, she is often invited as a juror and lecturer in workshops in Europe and South America. Author of original creations such as Ser and Me and Il Grillo, represented in Italy, Spain and Greece, she combines technical rigor, creativity and contamination between genres in her choreography, transmitting a complete and contemporary vision of dance to young dancers.

From street origins to modern contaminations, hip hop is a language of freedom and sharing. Lessons develop coordination, musicality and strength, encouraging team spirit and individual creativity.

Alessia Ciricosta

Hip hop teacher - AreaDanza Livorno

Start studying ballet, modern-contemporary and hip hop since she was a child, distinguishing themselves in international competitions and projects.
It is formed through workshops and seminars with world-famous masters, developing a personal language capable of merging technique and expressive freedom.
After graduating at Liceo Coreutico di Livorno, he combines his artistic activity with teaching of dance and obtains the GiocoDanza® qualification.
